Botha: They got off to a flier but our bowlers did well to peg them back, and then JP and Ingram finished it off well for us. We know Pakistan is a dangerous team, we expect them to come back strongly tomorrow. I am happy with my bowling, Afridi took me to the cleaners but I did well to come back.

Afridi: Our batters played poorly, we have a lot to learn from SA. We missed an opportunity to score 160 on a good batting track. Shoaib has been bowling well and our fielders did well too. Building partnerships is very important, so we should be more focussed in that area. I made a mistake of going for a big hit when I was set. I want to thank the South African players for being kind enough to donate their match fees to help the flood victims of Pakistan.

Duminy: Coming in with Akhtar charging in wasn't easy. The wicket was two paced, but all in all a decent wicket. It has been a good start to the season, hopefully I can maintain the good form.

JP Duminy is the MoM for his steady knock of 41 and 2 outstanding catches in the field.
